OSHA is the main federal agency in the United States Department of Labor that has first introduced the HAZWOPER safety training courses to workers all over the country. Some of the HAZWOPER courses that are offered are:

  • The 24 hour HAZWOPER Training Course.

  • The 40 hour HAZWOPER Training Course.

  • The HAZWOPER 1st Responder Awareness Level Course.

  4. It teaches people the methods of decontamination, the various levels of decontamination and the basic principles of decontamination.

  5. It teaches about the principles of toxicology and various types of chemical exposures.
