The Solvent industry: Chemicals are commonly known as solvents. These solvents are used in cleaning,painting, glues, paints and varnishes. However, workers can suffer from short and long term effects, if they are exposed to these chemicals on a daily basis. From mild skin irritation to kidney and lung failure, over time these solvents can prove to be extremely deadly, hence workers ought to employ the proper safety and protection measures.
