Hazwoper Refresher Courses introduces the 40 Hour Hazwoper Training Course. This safety training is mandated by the Government for all those workers participating in the Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation.
Basically, this course should be undertaken by all those who have volunteered for the emergency clean up operations and the handling, disposal and treatment of hazardous substances at waste sites. We have developed this course including all the topics from the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulations as laid down by OSHA.
As reviewed and approved by OSHA, this course has been recommended for 40 hours. Also, there are no pre requisites needed from the trainees. The main objective of this course is to make the workers realize the importance of OSHA and the role it plays in organizing occupational safety. We aim towards educating the employees to identify the various hazards present at the workplace. The use of Material Safety Data Sheets and ways to read and understand them properly will also be taught to the trainees.
The various topics covered in this safety training course are toxicology, site control methods, identification and analysis of hazards, chemical hazards, air monitoring, decontamination, material sampling, emergency procedures in case of accidents, etc.
We have included small quizzes in between all the chapters. It is mandatory for the trainees to attempt these quizzes and obtain a minimum of 70 per cent marks. Only then they will be able to proceed to the next chapter in succession. This has been done with the view of helping the students retain most of what they have earned and understood. The final exam also requires a minimum score of 70 per cent for successfully completing the course. In case, a trainee fails to clear the exam in the first attempt, two additional chances will be granted at no additional charges. Upon successfully completing the course, you will be awarded with your 40 hour Hazwoper Training Course Certificate. So, register today!
